REsourcing of Silicone POlymers (REPOS)
This project was funded by BPI France and Region Auvergne Rhone-Alpes, in co-operated with the IMP Lyon and three industrial partners (Activation, Processium and Elkem Silicones). Our objective was focused on the development of new processes for the depolymerization of the (wasted) silicone oils to elementary units such as cyclic siloxanes or chlorosilanes which could be further reused in the polymerization/functionalization in industrial viable manner.
