Research themes

Director of the Lyon chemistry graduate school

My research focuses mainly on molecular engineering in inorganic chemistry (coordination and organometallic chemistry) in order to design precursors for new tunable (hybrid) nanomaterials by "soft chemistry" processes in solution (Sol-Gel, MOD) or in the gas phase (MOCVD, ALD). This know-how offers a unique way to establish relationships between precursors and the final material in order to better understand their transformation and to develop reliable innovative developments for various applications (catalysis, energy, optics, environment, recycling and microelectronics). Since 2019, my research is carried out within the CP2M laboratory (UMR 5128), before I worked for 20 years at the Institut de Recherches sur la Catalyse et l'Environnement de Lyon (IRCELYON, UMR 5256).
