Size Exclusion Chromatography :

Hight temperature system designed for polyolefins analysis (refractometer, viscosimeter and light scattering detector) THF and toluen phase system tetradetector (refractometer, UV, viscosimeter and light scattering detector) DMSO and DMF phase system (refractometer, UV and light scattering detector)

Thermal Analysis :

DSC - Differential Scanning Calorimetry TGA - Thermogravimetric Analysis DMA - Dynamic Mechanical analysis

Vibrational spectroscopy :

FTIR - transmission, ATR (Attenuated Total Reflection) NIR - near infrared FIR - far infrared UV-Visible spectrophotometric analysis

Current projects

Polyolefins characterization

Developpement of new methods for measuring the microstructure of polyolefins : molar mass distribution (MMD) and chemical composition distribution (CCD)

- determination of long chain branching (LGB) using viscosimeter detector

- determination of short chain branching (SCB) using CRYSTAF, TREF, CEF, TGIC, DSC and DSC-SIST

TGA coupling

The combination of TGA with a FTIR or GC-MS allows the online investigation of gaseous products formed during the degradation of the sample

Chemical composition of copolymer using infrared (NIR or MIR) and chemometrics

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy by attenuated total reflection (ATR‐FTIR), combined with the partial least square (PLS) method provides a fast characterization of copolymers' intricate composition
